FINDING OUR OFFICE IN GREENSIDE.
While it is amusing to stand on our balcony and watch the various people trying to find our office wander up and down the street like lost souls, we have decided to make it easy, but only for you. Actually, it IS easy, none of us have any trouble finding the place every morning.
Directions from the M1
Take the “Glenhove Rd.”off ramp from the M1. If you are travelling North (towards Sandton and Pretoria), you will turn left into Glenhove Road, if travelling South (towards the Johannesburg City Centre), you turn right at the top of the off ramp and will cross over the highway on Glenhove Road. You travel straight ahead and stay in Glenhove although, to prevent boredom, the city fathers have added challenges by changing the name of the road – as you cross Oxford Road (MacDonald’s on the right) you will find you are now in Bolton Road – three traffic lights further on, as you cross Jan Smuts Avenue (you will see the Goodman Gallery on your left), it becomes Chester Road and, finally, as the road narrows and curves to the left, it becomes Derry. Derry meets Gleneagles Rd in a “T” junction controlled by a traffic light. Turn right (do NOT take the immediate left into Tyrone) and you will find yourself crossing a stone bridge that divides a golf course followed by an “S” bend that takes you down the tree lined Gleneagles, recently voted the best looking road in Johannesburg. There is one more traffic light where Braeside Road crosses Gleneagles and then you will come to a traffic circle where Greenway joins Gleneagles. R B House is directly across the traffic circle.
